Harvest

The harvest process is carried out the day before your products arrive at your home, as long as the weather permits, which is why it may happen that some day the product cannot be harvested because it is raining. Although this happens very few times a year. The harvest of oranges, mandarins and all our products occurs at the optimal point of the fruit (but then how is the season of a product extended? Very simple, the fruit that is at its optimal point is picked and the product that is not yet ready to harvest is left to ripen more). You can see more photos and videos of the orange harvest in the images and video gallery.

All our products are cut from the tree with scissors so that the orange better preserves its freshness and very little stem is left so that it does not damage other pieces of fruit. From the tree, the orange goes to a basket with a sponge at the bottom, to avoid bumps to the fruit. Depending on the fruit that needs to be harvested, one clothing or another is used, for example, to pick lemons it is recommended to wear long sleeves and gloves.

Once the amount of oranges or mandarins necessary for the day's orders is collected. The baskets are loaded onto a cart and taken to the warehouse where they will be cleaned and classified. You can see the process in images and videos.
