Classification and Cleaning

Once the baskets with oranges are in the warehouse, they are cleaned one by one and classified for table and juice, (they are equally good but have some fairly serious skin defect that does not alter the taste of the fruit, and the smaller oranges), the cleaning of these is done with a dry cloth, the only thing we do with the cleaning of the fruit is to remove the little dust that the fruit may have from being outdoors. You can see more photos and videos of the orange harvest in the images and video gallery.

We pick the fruit to clean it, we classify it for table and juice in 5-kilo boxes so that it is easier to put in the boxes. The difference between table and juice are some skin scratches and smaller size, but this does not mean that in juice ones there can be larger ones due to skin scratches. And remember that both juice and table ones are the same oranges and are equally good.

After classifying the oranges, we proceed to packaging and transport. You can see the process in images and videos.
